Biography

About Helen

I am part of the EPSRC CDT Geospatial Systems cohort based in Nottingham. I work across inter-disciplinarily between the Nottingham Geospatial Institute and the Faculty of Engineering and Aerospace. The  PhD  I am undertaking focuses on a project to improve the sea level measurement by using Global Navigation Satellite Systems reflectometry (GNSS-R). My interest in geospatial systems is to leverage satellite downstream data and geospatial technologies to provide innovative solutions for precision agriculture and water management to enhance food security. In the future, I hope to use the skills I developed throughout my PhD to support the decision-maker on water management and food security management plans.
